Scam Alert: Unauthorized “Hotel Block” Emails

We have been made aware of a fraudulent/unauthorized email claiming to offer discounted hotel reservations for the Gulf Coast Watermelon Association convention. This message did not come from GCWA or our official hotel partners.

Example of the suspicious sender:

• “Reservations Department” marketing@reserve-core.com

The email may reference our event dates and include a “Book Now” link. Do not click the link and do not provide any personal or payment information.

• Do not click any links or open attachments

• Do not enter credit card details or personal information

• If you already interacted with it, contact your bank/card provider immediately and consider updating passwords
